It’s even weirder than that… the truck driver victim was also an off duty cop…

And the shithead cop who hassled the nurse? He had a second job as an emergency ambulance driver and threatened to stop “bringing the good ones” to this ER.

(and even weirder, or cooler, the nurse was an alpine skier in the 98 and 2002 winter Olympics. She was a straight up hero for calmly and cooly standing her ground here… she knew she was right, was clear about it, and he, like a lot of cops, clearly just could not handle someone else being correct.)

They’d have found drugs in the blood one way or another.

I’m thankful the officer didn’t gun her down.

Pathetic on a whole other level. Never any accountability.

Utah??? They probably wanted to give the truck driver a forced catheterization. They probably also wanted to give him a forced colonoscopy like they did to David Eckert in Deming, New Mexico.

Glad social media can draw attention to this kind of bullshit.

It’s normally good advice to not speak to police ever but it seems the nurse had no other choice but to interact with this officer in this situation. Is there anything she could realistically do differently here? It looks like a massive catch-22 for her.

    TOTALLY WRONG.

The cop stated again and again that he wanted the test to protect the truck driver because he was the innocent in this case.

So what if a test cannot prove ‘innocence’ and only guilt? He’s a cop. Would he lie?
