To many people nowadays forget their heritage, they take hyperdrives and things for granted, this photo really shows our beginnings and would like to thank you for sharing! However I think if you post this on r/oldschoolcool it will probably be ignored or called out by rebel sympathiers… What a world we live in…

First of all, this is clearly a crowning achievement of that day, and truly set us on the path to greatness.

Secondly, am I the only one who just *LOVED* that “Thomas the AT-Engine” cartoon? Ahh … childhood Saturday mornings.

Don’t be too proud of this technological terror you’ve constructed. The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force.

Wait. WAIT wait. What this picture does not show is the generations of jawa’s forced into building this thing in factories. Did you know “ooh tee Dee!” Only became a thing the day the first automated droid factory went online? No. Didn’t think so. Yes it was and still is an awesome achievement. But show some fucking respect too.
