We made a series of cards that contain all of the items from the equipment packs you start the game with (eg, when you pick warlock, you can choose from the scholar’s or dungeoneer’s pack) and little themed boxes for the items to be kept in!

It started because at the end of every session, I would hold all the treasure cards the DM had given to me with a paperclip on my stack of character sheets, and by the time the next session rolled around, everyone’s stuff was all over the pile. We’d have to sift through to figure out who owned what, so I made little boxes for everyone’s items, then started making item cards, and here we are!

    For anyone interested – [individual packs](http://www.r-n-w.net/?category=EQUIPMENT+PACKS) & [full set](http://www.r-n-w.net/play/equipment-packs-the-full-set).

You can also download a free item card template [here](https://i.imgur.com/jL2tOzx.jpg)!

These are really lovely. I love the hand drawn cartoony design you opted for.

I love how they look, but seem like a bit too much work to me.

These are fantastic! I tried to do a set of item cards a while back, but these are so much nicer. Really awesome job, love the style.

What a terrific and well-executed idea!

Now, make one for bag of holding that’s 64 cubic feet on the inside.

What kind of card stock would you recommend? Also type of printer.

You have an exquisite collection of dice there! Are you in the dice maniac’s club on FaceBook? I think I spotted the elusive Chessex borealis set there, as well as one of the very hard to find 12mm metal copper sets! Awesome!

I have some of your stuff in the works already via the Arcana Note Kickstarter

I quite like this. I’ll be stealing the item card template. but the papercraft boxes feel like they’d get damaged really easily.

I love these! It’s actually similar to something I did for a one shot once – but made much more competently 😛

I just enjoy having tangible things to represent my equipment. I makes it seem much more real somehow. And handing things back to the DM once they get used or destroyed – much more satisfying/depressing, depending on the circumstances.

What’d be interesting is having the cards of items vary in thickness to show their weight or volume, so you could only fit so many cards into a backpack for example

Wish I could buy it. Living in a country that just gone through inflation a few years back, 8 dollars is too much for me to expand on that, even though it’s fantastic. I’ll try something like that, but way simpler.

Just a suggestion, but in the description of the packs, could you list what inventory items you’ll get? That way people know for sure what’s included in it.

That just seems like too much work and time shuffling through when a neatly orderd notepad can do the same thing at a fraction of the resources and time.

Like yeah, I see the appeal. If it’s a one-shot it could be a cool little gimmick, but if it’s a real campaign then it would get tedious as shit after the first few sessions.
