Highly recommend adding 1/3 of a cup of Parmesan, 1-2 tsp of minced garlic, and 1-2 tsp of dried parsley (instead of cheddar and jalapeño) for some amazing garlic bread.

To take it a step further, cut the bread into cubes and toast for some fantastic croutons for Caesar salads in the summer and tomato soup in the winter.

Hi! This is a quick bread. A bread that uses chemicals to provide leavening instead of yeast. It’s in the same category as banana nut bread and American muffins.

Oh my god, these people can’t even make bread without adding cheese. The only thing that shocks me is it wasn’t Parmesan.

    [Original Mealthy.com Recipe] (https://mealthy.com/recipes/1312)

    **Ingredients**

    3 cups all-purpose flour

    3 teaspoons baking powder

    1 teaspoon kosher salt

    1 (12-ounce) bottle lager beer

    3 tablespoons honey

    3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Optional: 1 jalapeño, seeds removed, finely diced, 3 tablespoons sharp cheddar cheese

    **Preparation**

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper. Spray with nonstick spray.
Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together in a large bowl. Add beer, honey, and oil; stir until fully combined. Stir in the jalapeño and cheddar, if using.
Pour batter into loaf pan. Bake until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean from the center, 50 to 60 minutes.
Let cool in pan for 15 minutes.
    Slice and serve warm.
Store bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
