I wish I picked it up during the sale. I havent played Skyrim in a while but I feel like I could easily get into it again.

Now onto Fallout 4’s 1X patch

My wife only plays Skyrim. She has not played any other game the last six years. But she says she doesn’t notice a difference between 1080 and 4K so we will see.

But give me Fallout 4 now pleaseeeee.

That’s bad ass. I play on pc now but it’s so fucking awesome seeing how many developers are dropping Xbox one x updates for their games.

Hopefully this also fix that annoying bug which resets all visual settings to default after a couple of hours. Subtitles, depth of field, etc.

Nevertheless, super excited to finally start Skyrim. I’ve been testing mods since it came out last year, but held off for an actual playthrough until the Xbox One X patch dropped. It’s been a while, but so glad I waited.

I’m hyped, just picked up my 65” 4K HDR Samsung today, the 5 minutes I played of Assassin’s Creed blew my balls off. It’s an amazing difference compared to playing it a few days ago in 1080p.

Just saw this. Literally just started a new character to get the 2 achievements I have left. Great timing!

I have to admit I’m not overly excited by the patch notes. What about HDR? Draw Distance? Texture Quality? Looks like a rushed half-arsed job to me.

Both Skyrim and Fallout 4 are now appearing in my enhanced games folder.
    The updates should release soonish.

Just one thing I don’t get yet, why in God’s name dynamic resolution when the competition and as we all know weaker hardware was actually native? I just hope I won’t notice it easily. I really want Skyrim to look crisp as hell.

What’s the point though? I’m sorry, I don’t really understand how this works, how do you patch a game to look better at a higher resolution, sure the models and things won’t change, just textures will be kind of smoother? Is this so you can use graphics mods to make it beautiful? Or will it still look like a 2010 game, just… with cleaner edges?
