A model [9 cylinder radial engine](https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8334/8133650846_29450c06c3_b.jpg) with one cylinder missing. It has all the right characteristics. You can see the cooling ribs, the push rods and the valves at the top.

Probably part of a long lost toy plane

It looks like it could be intended to look like a [radial aircraft engine](http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NTAwWDUwMA==/z/eVoAAOSwVbtZkczN/$_35.JPG?set_id=8800005007), whatever it is.

This is, without a doubt, a WWII fidget spinner. Helped the troops stay calm.

Aluminum is light and non magnetic, easy to file or scotch brite. Gives off a very bad smell when polished with scotch brite.

My guess is that it’s some sort of yard ornament…or part of a weather vane.
