Every time I look, the aero wheels toggle between totally okay and totally dorky.

Can someone convince me that 18″ gives a substantially more comfortable ride?

anyone else thinking of getting the Enhanced Autopilot and Full Self-Driving Capability after delivery even though it would be $1,000 more for each?

    Two things:

    * Can someone walk me through which of these colors will be the hardest to maintain? Red or blue is probably my favorite, but I’ve heard that blue is somewhat difficult to maintain. I’m also skeptical about paying an extra $1k just for a different color (although I’ve always been dying to own a red car), and I think black looks great, however I’ve heard that black is the most difficult color to maintain.

    * Do we know if there will be an option to buy a long-range model *without* the premium package? I know that won’t be available in the first wave, but it says in these pics that the standard battery model will have premium upgrades as an option, so I’m hoping the long range will also become an option at the same time.

All that said, I seriously have no effing idea which config I will end up buying, lol. Could probably convince myself to stick with a completely base Model 3 and I’d be happy to save the money. But I am falling into the hype, getting tired of my 1999 CR-V, and *really* really want to get my Model 3 as soon as I can. That’s actually a bigger motivating factor for me than the long range battery, although the long range would be very nice to have for trips into the mountains, and for when we eventually move to another state. Sigh. Decisions.

Someone needs to click on that “view all premium upgrades” link. Also, the upgrades are really ambiguous. Like does the heated seating throughout imply rear heating?

I so wanted [the silver on the aero, but the black on black is also good](http://i.imgur.com/3lvasq5.jpg), and $2500 cheaper… I don’t know. If the Aeros offer a worse ride then I won’t even consider it.

What happens if he unchecks premium option?

Looking at LR with nothing else (can’t afford), but nothing tells me where that is in the line. Is that after LR+Premium, at the same time, or after SR, or same time as SR?

I like how the stock wheels look disgusting to encourage spending the extra $1500 for better looking wheels that cost Tesla the same amount to buy and install.

I can’t help but think you have to drop $2500 to tone it down.

Otherwise you get a car that screams “race me” at every stop light. 🙂

Why didn’t they allow white to be no-cost upgrade too?

A lady friend I talked to thought the default black was too much as well (for different reasons than me).

Thanks for this. I actually really like the black and black the best so that’s cool.

I also don’t think I really need the premium package. Especially for that price.

I do really want self driving, but if I’m honest, it would mostly be for the cool factor…

So I’m actually okay with the base $35k model. I can add on the self driving stuff later if I find I desperately need it.

I thought aero wheels were fugly at first, but now I see they have their merits. Maybe they’ve grown on me, too. I still prefer the sport wheels for pure aesthetics, but they lose on cost, ride comfort, range maybe, and durability. I keep coming back to thinking how silver with aero ain’t too shabby…

The clearer choice for me is to get a white interior when that eventually comes out!

This is wonderful, especially seeing every colour / wheel combination.

I really love the red, but hubby is not keen on spending £1,500 on wheels. I think the standard wheels are a little bit hideous, except maybe with white paint. Good to see them though!

If they charge for data it will be worth investing into LTE hotspot and you will be able to take it with you or leave it in the car as a choice for backup internet. Name the wifi with same SSID as the wifi used for Tesla in your garage you there will be no need to select network.
